Understanding the Assets Directory

The Assets Directory is one of Pulse Intelligence’s core library pages. Together with Companies, News, and Documents, it forms the foundation of our global mining intelligence library.

This page contains all the mining assets that Pulse has gathered and verified.
Here, you can browse, filter, and explore assets in multiple ways — through a list view, map view, or by searching for a specific asset.

Browsing Assets

All assets in the directory are displayed alphabetically by default.
You can switch between two main views:

  • List View – a table of all assets with detailed columns.

  • Map View – a geospatial layout showing where each mining project is located.

Using Filters

You can refine the list or map of assets using two types of filters:

Basic Filters

Use these for quick, straightforward sorting.
You can filter assets by:

  • Country

  • Phase (Exploration, Development, Operation, or Other)

  • Primary Commodity

Advanced Filters

For deeper analysis, switch to Advanced Filters to define custom conditions and combine multiple criteria for more targeted results.

Exploring the Map View

In map view, assets are pinned by their geographic location and coloured by project phase:

  • Exploration

  • Development

  • Operation

  • Other

You can choose to show or hide any of these categories, or display them all together.

Searching for an Asset

Use the search bar to quickly find a specific mining asset.
Start typing a keyword, and the table automatically filters to show only matching assets.

You can also:

  • Keyword search directly within the table.

  • Click on an asset row to open the Mining Asset Modal, where you’ll see the full project details.

Customising Your Table View

The Assets Directory table lets you customise how information is displayed.
You can:

  • Show or hide columns to suit your workflow.

  • Download the current view as a CSV file.

  • Print a PDF version of your table.

Available columns include:

  • Mining Asset

  • Commodities

  • Phase

  • Primary Company

  • Country

  • Region

Key takeaways

  • Global access to verified mining projects: The Assets Directory gives you a centralised view of all tracked assets across Pulse — searchable and filterable by commodity, phase, country, and more.

  • Switch between Map and List views: Use the List view for table-based sorting and exporting, or the Map view to explore assets geospatially by development stage.

  • Filter for speed or precision: Apply Basic filters for quick sorting, or use Advanced filters to stack multiple criteria for detailed asset discovery.

  • Asset modals link to full project data: Clicking any row or map pin opens a detailed asset card showing ownership, lifecycle, production, and associated reports.

  • Customise and export your view: Show or hide columns, adjust sorting, and export to CSV or PDF for quick reporting or offline analysis.
