Navigating the sidebar
The sidebar is your main navigation tool in Pulse Intelligence. It gives you quick access to every part of the platform — from running Searches and checking Results, to managing your Profile or logging out. Whether you're a first-time user or looking to improve your workflow, this guide will help you confidently use the sidebar to move around the platform with ease.
How does it help you?
The sidebar keeps everything within one click's reach. You can:
- Create new Searches
- Jump between key pages like Companies, Assets, News, and Results
- Switch themes, update your profile, and manage your organisation
- Easily log out at the end of your session
It’s always visible on the left-hand side of your screen — whether you're in a dashboard or drilling into a company update.
Minimising and expanding the sidebar
To minimise the sidebar and free up screen space (especially useful when working with wide tables), click the arrow icon (<) next to the Pulse Intelligence logo.
Once minimised:
- Icons remain visible and clickable
- Hovering over each icon reveals its label
- To expand it again, click the three horizontal lines (≡) in the top-left corner
This is useful when you want a cleaner view of data-heavy pages.
