Tracking your portfolio

Track the companies you hold, see how they’re performing, and use Pulse AI to understand what may be driving recent share movements - all in one place.

Why use the Portfolio Tracker

Checking each of your holdings separately across different company pages can quickly become time-consuming.

The Portfolio Tracker brings your positions into one view, showing their current value, performance across different timeframes, and AI-generated summaries of recent share movements.

What the Portfolio Tracker shows

At the top of the page, use the portfolio dropdown to switch between portfolios if you have more than one.

The overview cards show:
  • Portfolio value
  • Total return
  • 1-day performance
  • 7-day performance
  • 30-day performance
  • Realised P&L
  • Number of positions
The holdings table shows each company’s:
  • Name, ticker, and exchange
  • Number of shares held and average cost
  • Current share price
  • Current value
  • Overall return
  • Performance across 1 day, 7 days, and 30 days
  • AI-generated summary of recent share movements

Use the 1D, 7D, and 30D buttons above the table to change the timeframe used for the summaries.

Click Refresh summaries to generate or update the summaries shown for your holdings.

Adding a holding

  1. Click Add holding in the top-right corner.
  2. Search for the company you want to add.
  3. Select the company.
  4. Click Add.

The company will appear in your holdings table. Until you record a transaction, it will show as having no position.

  • Performance across 1 day, 7 days, and 30 days

Recording and viewing transactions

Open a holding and select the Transactions tab.

From here, you can view any transactions already recorded against that company or click Add transaction to add a new one.

When adding a transaction:

  1. Choose Buy, Sell, or Adjustment.
  2. Enter the quantity.
  3. Enter the price per share.
  4. Select the trade date.
  5. Add the total fee, if applicable.
  6. Choose the transaction currency.
  7. Add a note, if needed.
  8. Check the New position shown at the bottom of the form.
  9. Click Save.

Once transactions have been added, the Portfolio Tracker uses them to calculate figures such as shares held, average cost, market value, realised P&L, and unrealised P&L.
