Exploring companies

Browse every company Pulse tracks, narrow the list using detailed filters, and open any company for the full picture.

Why use this page

The Companies page gives you a complete view of the companies covered by Pulse in one table.

It is useful when you want to browse the wider market or screen for a particular type of company, such as lithium companies below a certain market capitalisation, producers operating in a specific country, or businesses at a particular stage of development.

What you’ll see

The page is organised into three tabs:

  • Companies
  • News & Documents
  • Drill results

The Companies tab shows company-level information such as market capitalisation, cash in bank, headquarters, exchanges, primary commodities, asset phases, price movement, and production figures.

The other tabs let you explore related news, documents, and drill results for the companies included in your current view.

Filtering the company list

Select the Filters tab on the left-hand side to open the filter drawer.

You can narrow the company list using criteria including:

  • market capitalisation;
  • cash in bank and cash runway;
  • exchange;
  • industry and ownership type;
  • primary commodities;
  • asset phases and stages;
  • countries and world regions;
  • permits and milestones;
  • reserves, resources, and production;
  • specific companies or saved Company Sets.

You can also use Start From to begin with an existing saved search rather than building the filters again.

Results update as filters are applied, allowing you to keep narrowing the list until it matches what you need.

Filtering News & Documents and Drill results

The News & Documents and Drill results tabs use filters suited to their own content.

For example, News & Documents can be filtered by classification, topic, source origin, company, and date range.

Drill results can be filtered by commodity, hole type, source origin, exchange, company, and date range.

This means you can move between the three tabs while continuing to explore the same broader area of interest, using the filters relevant to each type of information.

Searching, arranging, and exporting the table

Use the icons in the top-right corner of the Companies tab to manage the current view:

  • Add to Pulse AI - send the current company-page context into Pulse AI.
  • Search - find a company by name.
  • Configure Columns - choose which columns appear in the table.
  • Export - download the current table view.

The export reflects the filters and columns currently applied, so you can download a focused dataset rather than the full company database.

Selecting companies

Use the checkboxes beside company rows to select one or more companies.

Once selected, the available bulk actions allow you to work with the group together, such as moving the selected companies into a comparison or saving them for later use.

This is useful when building a shortlist that you want to review across more than one session.

Saving a search

Once you have created a useful filtered view, select Save search at the bottom of the filter drawer.

A saved search can be reopened later from Searches & Alerts, allowing you to return to the same criteria without rebuilding the filters.

Using Company Sets

You can filter the table using one of your existing Company Sets, or add selected companies to a Set for easier access later.

Sets are useful for keeping a working shortlist together, such as a peer group, watchlist, regional cohort, or group of companies being reviewed for comparison.
