Why some news articles might be missing

If you notice a missing article or RNS in your email digest, don’t worry — it’s usually just a matter of timing. Here’s how Pulse handles news delivery and how you can make sure you never miss an update.

Why articles might not appear in your email

If a news item or document doesn’t show up in your email digest, it was most likely:

  • Published after your digest was generated.
Email digests capture everything available at the time they’re sent.

  • Outside your selected delivery window.
If your alert runs early in the day, late-breaking items may appear later.

The good news:

  • The article will still appear in your search results on the platform.

  • It will automatically be included in your next scheduled digest.

Nothing is lost — Pulse continuously captures and stores new updates as they’re published.

How weekend and delayed news is handled

The platform automatically queues any updates published over weekends or outside your scheduled delivery times.

For example:

  • News released on Friday evening or over the weekend will be included in your Monday morning digest.

  • Articles published after your daily digest time are rolled over to the next scheduled email.

No updates are missed — they’re simply delayed until the next cycle.

Tip: To capture as many updates as possible:

  • Adjust your delivery time to later in the morning (e.g. 9:00 a.m. instead of 6:00 a.m.).

  • Check your platform view regularly — it always displays results in real time, regardless of your email schedule.

Tips for power users

If you want to optimise how and when updates appear:

  • Refine your search filters by company, category, date, or asset to improve result relevance.

  • Create multiple searches with different focuses or delivery frequencies to monitor several themes or teams at once.

  • Use email preferences under Profile to adjust your content format or category priority — ensuring the most important topics appear first in your inbox.
