Understanding your dashboard and sidebar

Your dashboard is the first page you see when you open Pulse. It gives you a quick view of your saved searches, recent results, alerts, market activity, and production data, while the sidebar helps you navigate the rest of the platform.

Why this matters

The dashboard brings together the information you are most likely to check regularly, so you can see what has changed without opening each part of the platform individually.

The sidebar stays available throughout Pulse and gives you a consistent way to move between searches, tools, mining data, and your account settings.

Using the sidebar

The sidebar runs down the left-hand side of the platform.

At the top, use Search to look for a company or mining asset directly.

Below that, you will find:
  • Overview - returns you to the dashboard.
  • Searches & Alerts - create and manage searches and alerts, and open saved search results.
  • Pulse AI - ask questions about your Pulse coverage in plain language. Pulse AI is currently marked as Beta.
  • Portfolio Tracker - track companies you hold and review their performance.
  • Compare & Benchmark - compare selected companies or mining assets.
  • Companies - browse company data across the Pulse database.
  • Assets - browse mining assets and their related data.
  • News & Documents - review news, exchange filings, financial reports, and technical reports.
  • Drill Results - explore drilling programmes and reported assay results.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions - review tracked corporate acquisitions, mergers, and asset transfers.
  • Royalties - explore mining assets with royalty or streaming interests.
  • People - browse executives and board members linked to companies in the database.
At the bottom of the sidebar, click Profile to access:
  • Account Settings
  • Organisation Settings
  • Help Centre
  • Log Out

You can also collapse the sidebar into an icon-only view and expand it again when you need the full labels.

Using the dashboard search

At the top of the dashboard, the field labelled What would you like to discover today? gives you another quick way to search across Pulse.

Enter a company, mining asset, or topic and select the search icon to begin.
